Aspire E1-472P ram upgrade

I've gotten the impression that this model (E1-472P-6695 new in March 2014) requires removing the mother board and other internal parts before gaining access to the RAM. I'm happy to do this myself, if I could find a little guidance from someone that has accomplished this. However, maybe it's worth the $29.95 that Microcenter claims for RAM upgrade. Does anyone have experience with this?

Hi,
To Replace the RAM, you need not remove the MBD, just remove the Plastic cover at the bottom & you'll get access to the Memory module to replace,. Cheers.0
