I upgraded my Aspire 5552-5686 to windows 10. I have 2 network  adapters, 1 connects to my Bell internet router and the other to local area network with a fixed network address and no internet connection. The local area network is a workgroup (MSHOME)' None of the otther PCs on the workgroup have problems seeing each other. Two are windows 10.

When I click on the Nework folder in explorer, it acesses the adapter connected to the internet rather than the workgroup and of corse says file sharing is off.

thanks in advance for your assistance.

Thanks very much for your suggestions.

I checked both links but they dont apply.

My network is set up as a workgroup (MSHOME). It was set up on Win7 before upgrading to 10. Now that it is on Win 10, all the other pcs on the workgroup can access his pc but it can not connect to any of them.

When I unplug the Internet connection cable, everything on the workgroup works fully. When the Internet connection is re-connected, clicking on Network in Explorer is routed back to the internet connection.

    Below is the routing table.

At least I found a workaround.

I disconnected the internet adapter and selected Network in explorer. Then I pinned each computer in the Workgroup to Quick Access.

After re-connecting the internet adapter the pinned computers are still accessable through Quick Access even though selecting Network in explorer still is sent to the internet adapter.
