Hi all,

I am going to remove DVD Drive and add an SSD to the port on the Acer Aspire V15 V3-575-55MA. However, I dont know what is the type of DVD drive port in this version of the laptop. Is the port SATA-III, or SATA-II or SATA-I only? Because the SSD that I am going to integrate is SATAIII. And it will be no meaning if the port in mainboard that I used to connect is only SATA-I.

Could you please confirm me about this? So I can invest soon.

Thanks so much!

Nhan

The system diagram suggests the HDD & ODD interfaces both support the SATA-III (6GB/s) specification. Jack E/NJ
