Acer aspire e1-570 keeps going to start and then to desktop

Hey guys, I am in urgent need of help. My mum has an acer aspire e1-570 (i3 8gb ram), and it is the work laptop. The problem is that she dropped it on a stone hard surface, although from not that high up. I would have that it should have survived, and i thought it did. But it is a lot slower to turn on. This is fine, it was a mistake. However, for some reason when you log into an account, (win 8) it will go back to the start menu, and then to desktop, very fast, as if you are pressing the button. Obviously, this renders the laptop useless as it just does this, doesn't stop and you cannot do anything with it. I had a look at taking it apart as I have built computers and taken laptops apart, however this doesn't look like it is meant to be taken apart, and so I decided not to. Also, the key itself is not stuck down, and is perfectly normal it seems.

Is there any fix, anything I can do because I do not want to have to buy another laptop of course.
