Acer Theme Overrides Personalization

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire R14 laptop and I'm trying to customize the Windows desktop theme. When I select a new theme and reboot, the Acer standard theme overrides the theme I selected and keeps coming back as the primary theme. How do I solve that problem?
