Hi,

The touchpad on my Acer is not working properly. If I want to drag the cursor I have to click on the touchpad with two fingers and keep pressing and at the same time moving my fingers where I want the cursos to go. How can I make it back to normal? I have tried looking into the settings but couldn't find anything that could help. Sometimes the cursor moves when I use two fingers but after a couple of seconds it freezes.Tapping on the touchpad to open files works fine.

When I use an USB plugged mouse, the cursor works fine.

Any suggestions will be helpful, but please be detailed in your answer, I am not really good with computers ;-)

Thank you.

Hi and thank you for your reply.

It is Windows 10 indeed, even though I don't have the "advance gesture configuration" option, I was able to reset the default setting for the synaptics click pad and my touchpad is working just fine. Thank you though, you pointed me in the right direction.
