This older machine has windows xp and an Atheros AR5007GE Wireless network adapter. When you reboot, It takes almost a minute to "Aquire the Network Address", but it does, then a few seconds later, it changes and says "limited or not internet connectability", then a few seconds later, it says "Connected" I have found my mac address on the routers home page, so I know it is connected in some way, but I have no internet through it. The Ethernet port works fine. I have reformated this thing 4 times so far, trying different ways to fix the problem, I am beginning to suspect it may have something to do with the very aggressive Macafee internet security 60 day trial, that comes preinstalled, but that is just a theory. Anyway, any ideas would be appreciated.
