Acer Aspire D270 SD card not recognized. Driver is up to date.

My card reader stopped working. I read somewhere that it could be burnt out. Is there a way of checking this and or replacing it?

If you have an Aspire One D270 (AOD270), uninstall the actual driver and install this one:

  • Hello,

You can check if you see it in the Device Manager.

Device Manager says it is working properly and driver is up to date. It was working last week and I have tried different SDs.

Maybe I will check to see if any automatic updates occured and reset to last week.

Thanks a million! I downloaded the driver earlier without uninstalling thinking it would just overwrite the corrupted sections. Dumb me. Thanks again.
