Acer Aspire 5742 doesn't sleep when lid closed

Hello

I opened up my Acer Aspire 5742 recently because it was overheating tremendously. Everything went fine and I used compressed air to remove the dust inside the fan. It now doesn't overheat anymore - which is great.

The only issue I have now is that the laptop doesn't sleep when the lid is closed. I'm assuming this means that the magnetic sensor or switch which lets the laptop know the lid has closed has become misaligned - but I can't see the mechanism anywhere.

Could anyone tell me where this is actually located on the laptop please? Thank you

[edit] Oh, and just to add, I've checked the power settings and they are set to sleep when the lid is closed.
