Acer Asp. One 532h - replacing hard drive with SSD

This runs Windows 7 Starter. But now the 250GB hard drive has given up. Luckily I have the files from it. But now I need to replace it with a SDD.

How easy is it to replce the hard drive?

What are good tools / web sites with instructions - I'll need to copy / clone the system to an external drive - but how and what with?

Hello,

The online shop stated is not always the cheapest. For example, this one.

Do I need a caddy for the new SDD? You can use the original HDD bracket.

Hello. You may have to prepare following events:

1. Tools like screwdriver to uninstall old hard drive and install new SSD.

2. Backup and Restore solution to move system out. If you want to do disk clone, you'll need an USB to SATA cable.

3. Both SSDs are not bad choice to my knowledge.

You can give AOMEI Backupper a shot as backup solution, but it would be better if you provides more information about your Acer status.
