emachines laptop bios

Hi,

  This is an emachines D620 laptop (vista).

I have 1.03 bios.

The emachines.com web site says the latest bios is 1.03

But I did find another web site that says the latest bios is 1.13

members.driverguide.com

 

Is the 1.13 version an official version?

I am having problems with my battery not charging  :-(

And I have been told that the bios may need to be updated to

fix the battery problem.

Is it possible that an old bios could cause the battery to not charge?

 

Any ideas?

    Hello Gordon,

     

    1- Have you checked the output voltage of the AC adapter?

    2- Have you cleaned the DC-IN connector with a contact cleaner spray?
