i have a acer gateway ne570 and it won't boot up and i have tried the bios and it still detects the hdd but the first boot priority is windows boot manager which is the only thing in the boot option menu when you press enter where the "no bootable device, hit any key" box comes up after booting up the notebook and when the gateway logo appears. I've had it for over a year now and the hdd still works and my notebook didn't come with a recovery disk or recovery usb. And I've also used the alt+f10 key which brougt me right back to the "no bootable device, hit any key" box. So anyways what do i do?

you need a windows PC to use the window creation tool.

to boot from CD or USB, press F12 at boot and then choose the correct boot device.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
