I purchased a used ET1831-05 desktop. I want to upgrade the computer. Can I change the CPU on the present mo/bo? Also, can I add more RAM and install an nVidea GTX570 video card?

Unless you have more than two hard disk drives, I'd say 550W is adequate.  You could use a 600W but you'd maybe be paying extra for capacity you'd not need.

    About nVIDIA GTX750:

You'll have to change the PSU because the maximum power of GPU is 219 watts (PSU 550W mini).

I was wondering about this. How high should I go in wattage? Thanks!
