    • Extensa 4420 Display Problems

    My Extensa 4420 display goes black a few minutes after turning it on. The laptop works fine and I can attach an external monitor which allows me to continue working but the screen is totally dark. If I shut it off for a few minutes, then turn it back on, the laptop screen will work again for a few minutes before going black. Not sure if I need to replace the LCD screen or if it is a problem just with the backlight? Or maybe it is an inverter problem? Any help greatly appreciated.

      Shine a flashlight into the screen and see if you can see anything on the screen. If you can, it is the backlight.
