My Acer Aspire ES17 laptop keyboard will not work the mouse pad works fine and external keyboard.

Please help urgent, My laptop keyboard will not work and type anything. i done a system restore back 2 says and still noting ive gone to settings to keyboard and uninstall etc and still does not work was working fine the day b4 and not used it since just been on charge the mouse pad works and external keyboard. unable to get no further than the sugn in screen
please help urgently use the laptop for work .

Have you tried this:
1. Shut down your laptop
2. Disconnect the AC adapter
3. Wait few minutes
4. Follow this procedure
Note: The battery reset pinhole is marked with this symbol
on the bottom of the laptop.
