Does Qualcomm Atheros AR956x wireless network adapter not support 5ghz (dual) band?

I have an Acer E1-520 and I can't find my WiFi anymore. I did for a little while, but now it just doesn't appear on the list.

Can't find any information about this adapter online. Does anyone know whether this adapter supports dual band? Is this why I can't find it?

Shouldn't I be able to find the 2.4ghz band at least? Or do certain routers only run 5ghz?

This is a ES1-520 correct? Is it running Windows 10?

Correct. Yes, it's running Windows 10. From what I could gather it does not support 5ghz.

I thought that it could at least find the single band of 2.4ghz, but it can't find my WiFi altogether..

Go to Device Manager/Network adapters and click the arrow, click the wifi adapter and driver. See if Win 10 will let you roll back the driver.
