Aspire E1-532 lost internet connectivity

I have an Aspire E1-532 that I've been using for about 2 months now with no problems.  OS is Windows 7.  Yesterday morning I could no longer connect to the internet either through wifi or through an ethernet connection.  Other devices (tablet, phone, etc) can connect.  Wifi will connect to my router but I get no internet connection.

So far I have tried:

1.  Rebooting the modem/router

2.  Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers

3.  System rollback to a week or two ago in case any updates were causing the issue

Any other possible solutions or thoughts on why I'd lose both my wifi connection and ethernet port internet connections?

    Have you tried Fn+F3?

Yes, I tried that too.  Forgot to add that to my list.

Strangely, after not picking up my laptop for a day or two the wifi magically fixed itself yesterday.  When I turned the computer on last night I had internet connectivity again without doing anything.  I have no idea what the issue was or how it resolved itself but it happened.

Glad it started working for you. That happens occasionally. Who say's there's no magic left in the world?
