Aspire E1-432p Touch screen not working after upgrade to Win 10.   Control panel driver search says 2006 USB HID driver 10.0.105860 from microsoft is loaded but when click on details it says no driver required for touch screen!

Any ideas how to solve and get the touch screen going?

Thanks

Go to  Control panel, Device Manager. Click on the arrow next to Human interface Devices. Go to  Hid compliant touch screen, right click and select disabled. It will ask if you want to disable it because it may stop working, click yes. Right click again and enable.

Tried this before and again just now without luck.  Seems to be a common problem.  Sadly looks like I will have to revert to 8.1 Smiley Sad(

    Probably be your best bet.

Once you get back to 8.1, take a look at Start8  http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/

To me, this is all 8.1 needed to be a great O/S.
