no bootable device after updating bios
Hello,
I have just updated bios from v1.15 to v1.37 on acer aspire E5-573G-562R laptop and while it was updating laptop restarted several times and now it is showing me "No Bootable Device". What to do?
EDIT: I switched from UEFI to Legacy and everything seems to be working but is it good? Will that effect on security or on performance? Thanks in advance

No boot device means the hard drive is not being seen. BIOS updates are not recommended but they are not known to cause this issue. Please contact your Acer support location from this page: http://www.acer.com/worldwide/.

I think Acer-Mary misunderstood your question.
It's better to have a UEFI installation of Windows for speed and security.
I looked up your laptop model and assume it came without an operating system.
The link below explains how you can install Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 in UEFI mode.

Edit: If you're using Windows 7, you can probably just leave it in legacy mode.

You're welcome.
Please be careful when using "Diskpart Clean". Make sure you select the correct disk (probably disk 0).
Good luck!
