Hi

I've just got an E5-773 and cannot for the life of me get it to connect to my Samsung smart tv by either hdmi or wireless.

The Aspire is recognising the tv, and it looks like they're trying to connect but then it fails.  I've tried updating Intel files but am not savvy enough to know what I'm doing or looking for.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks for your time.

Rachel

let's use the HDMI cable, if you connect it and then right click on the desktop and choose Display settings, can you see 2 monitor listed? (laptop monitor + TV)

I've got the mirroring going (sort of) but no joy with the hdmi.  The TV seems to acknowledge that there is something plugged into its hdmi socket but then it gives me a 'no signal' message.  The laptop doesn't notice the telly's there at all.

Sorry for not replying all that time ago.  We got burgled and I got a new laptop so that solved the problem!  I have finally clicked 'like'.
