I have an Aspire E5-574-78LR and I wish to know how to disable its TrueHarmony audio feature.

I believe it is causing a high CPU consumption, since when I play music or any audio playback in my laptop, "System Interrupts" goes very high in CPU usage at "Task Manager" processes monitor. It also put CPU speed at maximum and doesn't slow down until audio playback is stopped.

I have already disabled all enhancements from sound effects at Windows "Speakers Properties".

I also must state that in my "Speakers Properties", it doesn't have the True Harmony tab, which I saw in this post: http://community.acer.com/t5/V-and-VN-Series-Laptops/v5-spreaker-problems/td-p/474615

If there is a way to add this option, that may solve the problem easily. But so far, I haven't figured out how.

I am running with:

Windows 10 Enterprise Version 1607 (14393.576)

Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.1.8004 (11/29/2016)

I have already tried to roll back the driver to previous releases, but it didn't work either.

If you can sugest a way to disable TrueHarmony, I will be very glad.

Thanks in advance!
