E1-572G bios password

Hi,

2 years ago  when I've bought Acer Aspire E1-572G I have set bios supervisor password, and I haven't touched bios since than.
Today I wanted to replace Windows with Linux but I couldn't change the boot device priority without the supervisor access.
Unfortunately, I have forgot that password. I've tried multiple tools from the web,but none of them could bypass the supervisor, only the normal bios user. I've even opened the notebook, couldn't find cmos reset pin and the battery was soldered to the motherboard so I couldn't reset it.
Is there any solution to access the boot menu or reset the supervior ?

Thanks in advance,
David.

    Hi there!

So at this point, you really cannot proceed without opening the lower cover door of the laptop. What you are looking for online is a 'Service Manual' of the laptop before proceeding to reset supervisor password.

Please proceed with EXTREME CAUTION as it is not advised for a user to attend to a service manual!!

    Hi there!

Please see this link and read 'Method 2 of 3: Backdoor Password' as described http://www.wikihow.com/Break-a-BIOS-Password

Also this is the site to generate backdoor password as mentioned in the above link http://bios-pw.org/

Hope this works! Dont forget to give a kudo and mark this as solution if this is successful.

    Hi,
    thank you for replying.
I have tried that method and it breaks user's password ,not supervisor password.
And when I enter I can't change any settings, that's how I determined it's not supervisors one.

    Kind regards,
    David.

    Hi there
I need help, I'm using an Acer Aspire E1-571 and I want to enter the boot BIOS menu to replace my previous Windows with a new one cause I don't remember my administrator password to log on. But as soon as I press the F2 key to go into the boot BIOS menu it asks for the current password which I don't know cause I never set it ever since I bought the laptop. Please help me!!

BIOS can't change the windows password. you'll need edit the registry.
