E1 572 charging issues

My acer aspire E1 572 won't charge. I lost my power cord so ordered a new one from acer. Plugged it in to charge my laptop and it charges for 30 seconds then stops charging. I then replaced the battery and still does the same thing. Please help me fix this. I no longer have warranty so unable to get help from acer.

    1. Could you give me the first ten characters of the computer serial number (S/N)? Only the first ten.

    2. What are the part numbers of the new AC adapter and battery?
    3. Does Windows detect/recognise the new battery?

    1) s/n - NXM8EAA008

    2) AK.065AP.013 (Adapter kit 65w with power cord from Acer store)

    AL12A32 (14.8v battery from BTExpertA on Amazon.)

    3) not sure if recognized by Windows. Laptop won't stay on long enough to check. It does show the charger being connected but only for 30 secs. But battery New and old ones are completely dead.
