Dead after 18 months

Got an Aspire E1-522-5659 in late October 2013. Here it is June of 2015 and my notebook is dead.

For weeks it has been giving the USB Unrecognized error with -nothing- in a port. The 2 of the 3 ports stopped working. Then they all stopped working. Blue screen when turning on saying there was usb error and it needed to restart for a week. Tried everything I could find online to fix it.

Now? Won't even turn on. Sits at Acer screen doing nothing. Tech guy tells me it is the motherboard. In a less than 2 year old machine?!

Horrible waste of money on what should have been a good product. Should have done more research I guess.

Acer-Justin, just wanted to say thank you for reaching out to me and helping me with getting my notebook repaired. I will very honestly say I was not expecting the response I received and am very thankful for the assistance.

If all goes well, I will be once again on my notebook in a week or two.
