Can really use some help here, we bought this laptop for my daughter about a month ago, maybe a month and a half.

Lately, she has had trouble when she boots it up, she can't type in her password, the cursor works, the touchpad works, but when you try and enter the password, nothing happens,

Thanks in advance for the help,

    Hi sjmay111,

    If you're at the Windows login screen, you can try using the Ease of Access features to launch a keyboard which will let you type in the password with the mouse. This should get you into Windows for better testing.

    Cory,

    Thank you, I tried the ease of access, and it wasn't working, couldn't click the mouse on it,

    A couple suggestions I might have then would be;

    1. USB Mouse/KB to see if they provide better support? Mostly for testing to see if you can learn more about the issue.
    2. Contact support and get our guys to take a look at it.
