Hi there,

I have an Aspire E1-571 which randomly disconnects the wireless adapter, the only way to clear this is to disable then enable the adapter.

This was purchased as a Windows 8 machine, but brought up to Windows 10, currently running Windows 10 Pro. The WiFi adapter is Broadcom 802.11n network adapter, with a hardware Ids of:

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_E042105B&REV_01
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_E042105B
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&CC_0280

I have checked that all drivers are up to date and that I've run all Windows updates, as I know about Microsoft breaking DHCP. I've also verified that this update is installed https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4004227/windows-10-update-kb3206632

I have also run the commands from an elevated prompt:

netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

My question is, is this an Acer network adapter issue? Or (and on their track record lately, I quite believe it!) the same Microsoft issue not fully resolved?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
