Aspire E1-510 "default boot device missing or boot failed."
Here is what I'm running;
Windows 10
From set-up Utility;
HDD model name: None
E1-510
BIOS version: 2.04
boot mode: UEFI (can't change this - I'm in the setup Utility menu)
boot priority order;HDD,ATAPI CDROM,USB FDD,Network boot-IPV4, USB HDD,USB CDROM,..
I've been reading a bit about this error on other threads, but not sure if it applies to my model.
I see my BIOS is really out of date. Will an update fix this problem? How do I go about doing that with the laptop in this state?
I'd really appreciate some help,
Steve

this is the problem!
or your HDD is dead or it's disconnected or the there's an issue on the motherboard SATA port.
i strongly suggest you to contact Acer support service if under warranty or a repair shop if out of warranty period.
I'm not an Acer employee.0
