A few days back it shut down without any notice when i was in game. I though may be some minor issue. then the next day it happend again in the game. So i used Speccy and speedfan software to monitor heat. That day when i was playing game it showed that the temperature was 93 degree celcius. Now it shut down every time when i play games for an hour. The temperature stays between 80-95 degree. What is the possible reason behind this? any major issue? The fan is running. I have warranty.

I am not sure if that is the one with i7 5th Gen, Also not sure if your saying that is 95c or 95F? couple of things I would try to start out....

One if your using Wifi for gaming Try changing over to Etho.

Also I would get a CPU cooler to try and help keep the system cooler. I would get one with dual fans and that uses a differnt power supply other then just off your USB again this is to help keep the system cooler.... Also if you buy one that say has a USB hub built in try using the Hub for your USB connections rather then the ones on your laptop. That way your only connection would be one for the cooler/hub.

Also I am sure your using your system on a desk or something that allows your laptop to have max air movement over and under your system!

    5th Gen i5, 2TB HDD,8GB RAM,940M 4GB,1080P Display.15.6inch.
Why should i buy a Cpu cooler? A company makes a laptop with all the things that can help the laptop to give its best. I am not even pushing it to its max use. I use the laptop on my table, enough room for air. I am taking it to the Acer authorized service center. Lets see what they say or do with it.
    Thanks for the opinion.

Ok sorry I read your first post again and better and seen your were saying that you core temp was 80+C and sadly that temp is to high for running your system.

Also 5th Generation 14 nanometer Broadwell processors have a FIVR (Fully Integrated Voltage Regulator) on the Die, but the TDP is much lower at only 65 Watts. The 6th Generation 14 nanometer Skylake processors do not have Voltage Regulators on the Die. Even though TDP is 91 Watts, act like the Ivy Bridge processors...

3rd through 6th Generation processors are more difficult to cool than earlier processors for three reasons; The 3rd and 4th Generation 22 nanometer Die, and the 5th and 6th Generation 14 nanometer Die have significantly less surface area in contact with the underside of the Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS), than the larger 2nd Generation 32 nanometer Die. Then 3rd through 6th Generation processors have more transistors packed into a smaller Die than 2nd Generation processors. lastly 3rd through 6th Generation processors use Thermal Interface Material (TIM) between the top of the Die and the underside of the IHS. Solder, which has superior thermal transfer characteristics, was instead used in 2nd Generation and earlier processors, and is used in Intel's "High End Desktop Processors"......

So I thought as a way to try and solve your probelm is with a under your Laptop Cooler with a couple of fans that can be bought for under 30 in most big box stores. There are a lot of factors in how things get to hot in a laptop like heating of your air in your home. I am not saying that your computer is close to a heat source but ambient temps make a big difference as well.

Good thing is that it is still under Warrenty and glad that they will look things over for you. I know my system is a Desktop but while playing the games that I play from time to time my cpu is only a 3rd gen i3 but my Core temp hasn't been over 56c and I always felt my CPU fan ran slow at 950 to 1004 RPM but I guess it hasn't needed anymore if it can do any more LOL...

Let us know what the tech say incase there is another prerson with your system and same kind of issues. It is helpful and can make things faster in the end.

    Good Luck
