I was tinkering around with my Acer laptop's motherboard trying to upgrade the 1 ram card in it. Well, I may have messed up the touchpad in a way. I've already tried reinstalling the driver just in case it was that sort of problem. But it wasn't. The touchpad is inoperable and I can only use a usb mouse to operate the cursor.

I don't know what to do!

PS: I didn't void my laptop's warranty tinkering with the parts because the warranty has been over for a while!!
