Hi
I don't know. What have you tried?
I suggest you start with a USB stick and a full version of Ubuntu (there are many variants) 17.04 and get the USB to be recognised and booted from.
When the Ubuntu desktop is running in LIVE mode I would use it for several hours, downloading any drivers for WiFi or whatever to a separate device.
Then look to the HDD with Gparted and work out if it is MBR or GPT and what partitions you are going to create, then create a Windows recovery method.
Shut down and re-start and examine the BIOS options on UEFI / Legacy and perhaps take pictures before you make any changes.
Then maybe ask in the Ubuntu forums to see if anyone has already done this with your particular make/model/configuration.
The important part is the windows recovery method in case something goes wrong.
