My Acer Aspire E1-571G was bought 2 years ago and i took great care of it, the left corner started clicking and i noticed the cover lifting when i opened and closed the laptop. This has now resulted in something coming loose in the laptop and the cover now gapes when i open and close it. This is definitely a manufacturing fault and i have found out that others have the ACER laptops has the same problem. I cannot find a email address for ACER. How many others have this problem? Shouldn't ACER have recalled the laptops when they found out about this problem? What can i do to hold them accountable for this MANUFACTURING FAULT?

I am having the same issue with the same model, and there are a lot of reports from other models. The problem does seem to be getting progressively worst too. Originally it just clicked, now it seems to be pushing against the case in the corner and gradually separating it. Any advice on how to get this serviced or repaired would be great...
