ACER ASPIRE E1-471: UPDATE BIOS CRASH

HELLO, I NEED HELP ON THIS.

I WAS UPDATING BIOS FROM ACER ASPIRE E1-471 FROM VERSION 2.11 TO 2.18 BUT GOT CRASH, NO MORE NORMAL POWER ON.

WHEN UPDATING USING ORIGINAL FILE FROM ACER SUPPORT WEBSITE, THE LAPTOP REBOOT FROM WINDOWS, POWER ON INTO A DOS LIKE PAGE AND SHOW IN SCREEN...

UPTATING:

ACTUAL BIOS VERSION: ZQS 2.11

NEW BIOS VERSION: ZQS 2.18

PROGRESS....: 0 % AND REACH WITH SUCCESS TO 100%

AFTER THAT, THE LAPTOP REBOOT AGAIN AND POWER BLUE LED IS ON BUT NO SCREEN....

AT LAPTOP START, HARD DISK MAKE NOISE OF POWERING ON AND SO.

NO SCREEN, THE LAPTOP IS FREEZE.

AT BACK SIDE INFORMATION OF THIS LAPTOP, THE PAPER SAYS:

Aspire E1-471-6683

MODEL NO.: ZQT

.....

SNID: 31300078979

So, Original BIOS was ZQS but the model says ZQT?????

I not found service manual for this model, so cannot move by myself too much.

I found some instructions about usage of USB Stick with combo of FCN + ESC + Power Buttom...

Using files with .FD extension inside USB Stick.

I tried 1 for test and the thing hapens like users said.

Power Led blinks, USB Stick BLinks for couple seconds and LapTop Restart.

BUT STILL FREZZY.

I believe that I`m using the wrog .FD file.

The ACER support site not have any .FD file for this model (or any other kind of file, unstead .EXE one)

Can you ACER Support Help me????

YOU WILL NEED TO FORMAT A USB-STICK WITH FAT(16) PARTITION STYLE.

NOW THE SECRET OF .FD FILE

YOU NEED TO PUT IN USB STICK THIS FILE WITH EXTENSION .FD, BUT ACER DOWNLOAD SITE ONLY HAVE .EXE FOR INSTALLATION, SO YOU GO TO ANOTHER COMPUTER (INCOMPATIBLE WITH ASPIRE E1 VERSION) AND EXECUTE THE FILE....

YOU WILL RECEIVE A ERROR MESSAGE, BUT NOT CLICK ANY BUTTON NOW.

NOW, OPEN WINDOWS EXPLORER AND GO TO C:\USERS\(USER ACCOUNT)\AppData\Local\temp\7zS4F0C.tmp

INSIDE THIS FOLDER YOU CAN GET THE HOLY .FD FILE (MAYBE ZQS.FD)

COPY THAT TO USB STICK AND CLOSE THE ERROR MESSAGE. (FOLDER WILL DISAPEAR AFTER THAT)

WITH THE FILE INSIDE THE SUB-STICK, FOLLOW MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS.

BASICALY:

Steps for BIOS Recovery from USB Storage

To Create a Crisis USB key, perform the following:
1.Format the USB storage disk using the Fast Format option.
2.Save ROM file (file name: ZQS.fd) to the root directory of USB storage. Make sure that there is no other BIOS file saved in the same directory.
3.Plug USB storage into USB port.
4.Press <Fn + ESC> button then plug in AC power.
5.The Power button flashes once.
6.Press Power button to initiate system CRISIS mode.
7.When CRISIS is complete, the system auto restarts with a workable BIOS.

AFTER THAT

8.Update the latest version BIOS for this machine by regular BIOS flashing process.

MAYBE YOU WILL HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM LIKE ME, AFTER RECOVER FROM CRISIS, BIOS NOW SHOW ANY HARD DISK, SO YOU NEED TO UPDATE BIOS AGAIN USING ANOTHER TOOL LIKE MINI_XP FROM HIRENSBOOT FIXITURE HELPER.

BUT THIS IS ANOTHER CONVERSATION.

i have acer aspire e1-471-32322G50Mnks. and i want to upgrade my ram and hdd, please any one tell me about what must i do to : 1. i want buy hdd 2TB , is that support and what about the size 2,5 / 3,5 inch.
