I have a Gateway (SX2370) computer that contains an Acer DAA75l-aparker motherboard. It looks like the motherboard in a M3470 desktop service manual I found.
I am trying to find the bios settings to adjust to allow wakeonlan (wol.) So far not much luck. Searched this forum (sometimes searches do not work well) and could not find any wol info.
Anyone seen any information on how to set bios to wol?

Since my first post (above) I have continued my search.
Not much luck, yet. Gateway does NOT accept any questions after your warranty expires. (No more Gateway's for me.)
Add Acer . . . well, not much better. And that's too bad. I really like my Acer Aspire One I have had for years (has nothing to do with my problems with my Gateway SX2370.)
The search goes on . . .

You may well not require a BIOS switch change (I'm not familiar with your machine). Many simply need configuring in the driver 'Advanced' tab through Windows.
It's a shot in the dark but worth a look.

You see, I bought a company and inhereted this computer. It is three or four years newer than anything else I own. That being said, I assume there are switches within BIOS that need to be set in a certain manner. I found those switch instructions (sorry don't remember where) and set accordingly.
By your suggestion, I will have to study the variations of all the W7 device settings. Thank you for your advice. I'll see how it goes.

As of this date, I have not found a solution for my issue . . . bummer!!
(LOL, and when I google or bing or yahoo my question, my post pops up first in the search engines. I am the only user experiencing this issue with this computer in the world . . . . frustration? . . . yes.)
