aspire xc-605 inable to see quadro nvs290 card

HI, i have a new xc605 and i am trying to fit a Nvidia Quadro nvs 290 twin monitor video card

it fits fine but i get no picture from it, nor do i get a picture from the onboard graphics

if i remove the card, the onboard comes on

have tried the card in another compauter and it works fine

any ideas??

Does it post at all, or does it give you any beep codes?

I might try switching the BIOS over to Legacy and then booting to see if you get anything different. It may be that the card is to old for UEFI recognition?
