I upgraded my power supply to a termaltake 430W then tried to install a Zoltac GTS450 1GB 128bit DDR5. it work for few min then screen shuts down. Any thoughts

does the computer work fine with the factory shipped or any other video card? If yes, the issue might be due to compatibilty. The new video card might not be compatible with this computer.

Yes when I put back then original it works again, is there some where I can go look to find out for sure it a compatibility issue? I still want to upgrade card would hate to buy another only to have same problem

You can check with the store from where you bought this video card or contact the video card manufacturer

Depending on what else is running in your pc it might be a lack of power or amps. Your power supply is only just above the recommended minimum level of 400w. (see below from geforce site) And i trust you are connecting the 6-pin power lead to the card.
