Just got a acer aspire. Trying to register and create an acer ID. I used the app to register and try to create an acer id. It comes up with "invalid email" however have already received an email saying thank you for your purchase and you should register. When I try to creat an id it also states, id taken user another email. How do i register and create an ID. This is the wifes desktop. Windows 8.1

As you are not able to create your Acer ID through BYOC Apps, you can try creating it in Windows (if you have not done this already). To do this, you can follow the steps below:
1. Go to https://www.cloud.acer.com/ops/login
2. Go to "Sign Up" option
3. Fill-in your details appropriately in the form that comes up and follow on-screen instructions. Please make sure that you type your email address correctly as that will be taken as your Acer ID.
