Can not install wifi card in x1935. Is it possible or do I have a serious windows problem? Tried both internal card and USB, but no go. Please answer because reistall Windows is rrealkly a big job. I tried a lot of different repairs.

I am sorry to hear that you are encountering a difficulty installing a wireless card. If you have installed it and the system is not detecting it, then it may not be compatible with Windows 8 or you may need to download and install the driver for that particular device.

I would recommend making sure the device you are using is compatible with Windows 8 and also when you install the wifi card or USB dongle, do you ever get a notification that new hardware is detected? If you do, then you may need to check your device manager and make sure it is being installed properly. If you are not getting a message or it is not showing up in the device manager then it may be another issue all together.
