To obtain the spare parts, it depends in which country you live.

Have you found out where to purchase just the digitizer for the Acer 5600U? All I can find is well over $500 which includes the LED dispaly which I don't need.

Where did you find the unit for $500?

I haven't found just the digitalizer yet... I did find the entire unit for over 1,000 US dollars (if my conversion from Euro to US dollars is correct) in Europe. 

Crazy, I have 5 of these units in my inventory to fix and I can't find a replacement digitalizer. 

Guess I'm going to have to pull one of the units apart and see if there are any part numbers on the digitalizer.

I called Acer directly and they were 550 which included the display
