HELP

     I just did an upgrade to the OS on my Acer Veriton M460 from Windows Vista Business to Windows 7 Ultimate.  Even though the process took several hours it reboot normally during the upgrade process several time.  However when it finished the upgrade it would not boot into Windows 7.

     All I have show up after the BIOS information is a blinking cursor.  I have booted from a CD and can examine the C:\ drive and every thing looks ok, it just wont boot.

Hi Mark!

Restart your computer, and tap F8 continually when you see the Acer logo. This will bring up the Advance Boot Menu. Listed there should be the option "Repair Your Computer". Select that, and follow the on screen prompts, until you come to the System Recovery Options and select the "Startup Repair" option.

Hopefully, once complete, will allow you to boot into Windows.
