Sound system is mute when i charge my mp3 player

when I use Aspire touchscreen z5801 and charge my mp3 player on it, why the sound is not coming out? what should I do? I just wanna play my music from my mp3 player, It play, but there is no sound. I try my music from the computer, and it still not work. But when I unplug my mp3, the sound is normal. What's wrong?

If I am understanding you correctly, you want to play your music from your MP3 player through your computers speakers? I looked at our user guide and service guide for this model and it only has headphone and microphone jacks. You would need a line in port to support what you are trying to do.

If you are plugging your mp3 player into the headphone jack this would explain why your sound is not working.
