I allowed windows to upgrade vista and other stuff last week and now windows doesn't make any sounds when it loads up.

I also cannot get any sounds from web sites with either my Mozilla Firefoz or Windows Internet Explorer browsers.

When I open the Realtek  HD Audio Manager the test sounds come through just fine.

I suspect a driver problem but do not know how to resolve it.

Any help out there?
