The Internet Explorer 32 bit developed an ERROR OCCURRED message in a little square that freezes my PC. I have to use a hard shut down to even turn the PC off.
I need the I.E. 32 bit for several of my programs to work. Shockwave does not like to work with the 64 bit. HP tried to do a remote repair of my printer, They could not access my PC or Printer without the I.E. 32bit. I have had "Professional" service people work on it and they can not fix the problem. They have deleted a lot of things. BUT can never get the IE32 bit back on. The Mozilla does not work as well with most of the programs I use.
IF I USE THE BACKUP DVD's, I MADE IN THE BEGINNING WILL THAT PUT THE ORIGINAL I.E. 32 BIT BACK ON MY COMPUTER?
PLEASE I am an old lady the needs help with this problem. THANK YOU.

More than likely restoring with your old backup disks will solve a problem that developed over time.
Pretty much the backup DVD's will make your computer exactly like it was when you made said backups.
Make triple sure that you back up any important files/programs/pictures/etc before doing so, as generally a backup = a clean slate.

Sound good to me. I have already pretty well backed up & copied everything of importance on my computer. I think I was just looking for that last little bit of assurance to make the finally push to do IT! I am a grrey haired chicken! I hope I can muster the courage now to make the finally push.
Thank you Juzzo.
