My Aspire V3-731 wont charge unless in sleep mode

Anyone know how I can get around this? Ive gone through power settings and everything

I have never heard of a notebook only charging in sleep mode. I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this and I see you have went through the power settings. There is an option within the Power Options, "Restore default settings for this plan", have you tried selecting this option?

You can try visiting our support website and download the most recent BIOS for your notebook. If that does, I would recommend restoring your system to factory defaults using the built-in recovery.

If you are still experiencing this problem, contact technical support in your region for assistance as repair may be needed.
