If I install this driver in TC 605, will it increase the performance of the computer?

This software should have been installed at the factory when you got your unit. If it was not installed at the factory there is a reason why it was not done so. Probably due to compatibility reasons. Your free to install what you like but just be aware that the stability and performance of your unit is not guaranteed when using non Acer supplied drivers.
