Installed my BD in my Aspire XC600W yet when I try to play a disc I get a warning stating my graphics card is not supported! My 4 year old PC with an onboard Inter HD played them fine!
Anyone?
So frustrated!

Unfortunately, we do not ship the XC600 series with a Blu-ray drive.
We are unable to support third party hardware or software.

I need to be more specific -
Installed a Blu ray drive AND software SUCCESSFULLY. The HARDWARE in this case the GRAPHICS CARD, states that it's incompatible. The is a PCI expansion slot yet it won't run the card as the system only runs at 220W.
My question has NOTHING TO WITH SOFTWARE. Acer tech department were as useful as ants at a picnic.
What is the point in having an expansion slot that won't take a basic graphics card and a TECHNICAL support department unable to tell me why it's there and if it's useable at all!

I'll try to address your points outlined above individually.
1. "The HARDWARE in this case the GRAPHICS CARD, states that it's incompatible."
Which graphics card are you talking about?
One that you have installed yourself or the on-board chipset?
2. "The is a PCI expansion slot yet it won't run the card as the system only runs at 220W."
What card? Please be specific.
3. "220W"
The power supply is designed for the system, as shipped.
While it is possible to add another drive, or a video card, as you state, there may not be enough power from the power supply to operate those additional devices. It may take more than just adding a video card to do what you are attempting to do.

1. I installed it myself
2. ANY CARD. Just installed a PCI USB card and the system wouldn't recognize it. Yes I installed the drivers and everything else correctly.
My question is - as an Acer technician you really should be able to anser a simple question. Does this machine have the capacity to play BD? In ANY possible configuration and ANY BD player.
I have tried a graphics card in the PCI slot and the machine wouldn't boot. I installed a USB hub in the PCI slot the machine didn't even know it was there.
WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS EXPANSION SLOT?!?!!?! IT WON'T RUN GRAPHICS OR A SIMPLE USB CARD.
I bought this machine BECAUSE it was expandable yet the slot WON'T DO ANYTHING. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS EXPANSION SLOT!?!??!?! WHAT WILL IT RUN OR IS IT JUST FOR FUN!??

You are attempting to install and utilize hardware that we do not support. We do not support it. We are unable to support third party hardware and/or software. We cannot support anything that we do not ship with the system.
Blue-Ray - Re: 2. I have already stated that we do not ship any configuration of this system with a Blu-ray player. We do not support the installation of such hardware on this system. If you know the specific model of drive that you have installed, it would be a good idea to post that here.
Video Card - If you are using a video card that exceeds the maximum power output of the power supply, which is quite likely, then you may experience the issue that you are seeing.
You have never stated what specific card you are attempting to install. This is quite important as many cards will need additional power from the power supply. As I requsted above, please be specific in what you are attempting to install so that we can provide some assistance.

I was really hoping you could point me in the direction of a compatible card, even just the type of card if you can't mention other brands.
I just want to play my BDs!
