How to change Acer Aspire E700 to AHCI or IDE from RAID? I have been trying to figure out but cant find out where it is in the bios. It got changes because I had to reset the CMOS can anyone please help me out?

Resetting the defaults in the BIOS should change all of the setting back to the factory settings.

This should be located on the last page of the BIOS.

I have an e700 and cannot find ahci anywhere. I really need this so I can disable Raid on my computer.

So you can disable software RAID?

There is no hardware RAID on the system that I can see.

Yes I want to change sata to ahci mode. Currently it is appears it is trying to run in software raid mode.

What software RAID package is presently running in Windows?
