I have as new acer predator that microcenter replaced the mb, ps, cpu, motherboard, but NOT the dead video card (amd radeon hd 8760). The acer certified repair shop could not order a installed acer part causing confusion and delay.
I have enjoyed one month use with 3 months in the shop, in a very dead end sense of the word.
After the tech verified that everything is working but the video card, they insisted we ship the whole unit in to replace a video card. This is the long way around a short problem.
Customer service and satisfaction are not concerns of Microcenter, the head of the repair department of Microcenter Richardson Texas assured me.
I expected more of Acer, not so much Microcenter.

If it is a new Acer unit, did you contact them by chat or phone (800) 816-2237 to see about exchanging the video card yourself? If you haven't called them yet to see what your choices are, give them a shot before giving up on them. ![]()
