Lost the hard drive on my Aspire X-1200. Windows Vista 64 bit was preloaded at purchase. Will Acer provide disks so that I can reinstall Vista on a new hard drive? If so, how do I obtain them? Ed

Depending on how long you have owned the unit, you can go to the Acer Store and purchase them on-line, https://store.acer.com/store?Action=DisplayDataValidationServicePage&Locale=en_US&SiteID=acerna If it says they are not available, you would need to call them at 1-800-910-2237 to get them ordered. The website generally doesn't allow the sale of recovery discs once the unit is past the 3rd year if I remember correctly, but they are pretty good at helping when you call in.
