If you have HDMI connected to another system, then it should automatically go to the HDMI input.

Sorry to say MR. Acer technician but I beleive you are mistaken.
How is it possible that an Acer technician doesn't know this???????????????
All real life use of this Acer DA220HQL indicates that I have to manualy select OSD from the android screen and then select HDMI even though there is always a valid HDMI signal it will only display if one manualy selects OSD then HDMI.
If there were a way to make it act as if it though it were only an HDMI monitor it would be greatly appreciated for those who were ripped off in the Emachines settlement and received these 20" "tablet" toy's.
Whoever thought of the idea of a 20+" tablet that requires a AC power outlet must have done way to much BAD ACID in the 70's.
