Hi I have acer aspire s7 notebook . My battery died and it shut my laptop and when I try to restart , it gave me message it's repairing hard disk and it might take hour . After few hours I have a blank screen . When I restarted it was same issue ..how and where do i fix my laptop ? Thanks for any answers .

You may please power OFF the computer by pressing the power button for 4 to 5 seconds.

Insert a paperclip into the battery pinhole at the bottom of your computer and press for four seconds to reset the computer. The battery reset pin hole would have battery symbol near the hole. This will not affect any data stored on your computer

Is your computer shipped with windows 7 or windows 8?
